About the New Senate Web Site
Note for Safari users: We have learned that there is a bug that causes the Safari browser to not display the menus correctly. Until we get this fixed, Mac OS users will want to use the Firefox browser for the faculty senate web site. We apologize for any inconvenience.
For current scheduling, minutes, agendas, reports, and motions please refer to the menu at left under "Current". Please forward all corrections and other web-site related material to the Faculty Senate secretary, Dr. B. Sidney Smith, at bsmith7@radford.edu.
In addition to current documents, you may find here rosters of all teaching and research (T & R) faculty, of the full senate, of all senate committees, and of all internal governance (IG) committees. We seek to keep this information as accurate as possible, so please make a note of any inaccuracies and email corrections to Sid.
Under "Documents" you will find the Constitution of the Faculty Senate, the By-Laws, and the current Apportionment of senators among the academic departments and colleges. Under links you will find some helpful items regarding Robert's Rules of Order and the orderly conduct of meetings according to parliamentary procedure, other documents governing various internal governance procedures, and links to other important organizations. Finally, under "Archive," we will soon have available documents of the senate for about the last 10 years.
